Tech guru Kerry visits Wisconsin

U.S. Sen. John Kerry (D-Boston) was back in Wisconsin today, but the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports that this time, he was greeted by a much smaller crowd.

As the Democrats' pick for president in 2004, Kerry staged an appearance in front of the state Capitol [Madison] five days before election day that attraced about 80,000 people. This afternoon, stumping for Sen. Barack Obama of Illinois, he found several hundred supporters -- including a few holding signs for the Republican nominee, Sen. John McCain of Arizona.

"I'm excited to be here, notwithstanding that the Boss isn't here," Kerry told the crowd.

Kerry also had an opportunity to show off his technical wizardry skills.

Madison Mayor Dave Cieslewicz's microphone cut out during his introductory remarks, leading him to declare: "It's erratic. It comes and it goes. It doesn't know where it wants to be. It's sort of like John McCain."

Kerry got the mayor's microphone working again.

"Senator Kerry is also a member of the AV club," Cieslewicz said.

Clearly with Gore inventing

Clearly with Gore inventing the internet, global warming and other fables - we as a country would have the technical advantage with the likes of Kerry and Gore running things.

Is this thing on?
