New survey says Obama lead in Mass. falls to 9 points

U.S. Sen. Barack Obama (D-Ill.) currently leads Sen. John McCain (R-Ariz.) by nine points in Massachusetts according to the latest poll from 7News/Suffolk University.

The survey, conducted between July 31 and August 3, shows Obama with 47 percent t McCain's 38 percent. It has a 4.9 point margin of error.

Obama has fallen from the 7News/Suffolk poll a month and a half ago, when he was ahead of McCain by 53 percent to 30 percent -- 23 points.

A SurveyUSA/WBZ-TV poll, conducted June 25 to 27, showed Obama leading by 13 points, 53 percent to 40 percent. Seven percent were undecided.

This is a bogus poll!

I don't consider this poll to offer any sort of useful information as it does NOT apply to the election in Mass...

There will be MORE than two candidates on the ballot, and "Undecided" is NOT going to be one of them...

Lets have polls that show answers when a choice of ALL the candidates is given - currently it looks like this will be:

Nader - for himself
McKinney for the Greens
Either Phillies or Barr (depending on litigation) for the Libertarian Party
plus the evil twins - Obama and McCain...

Polls that don't ask the voters about all the possible candidates are not going to give useful results and are unfair to both the candidates and the voters.

I agree

Most polls are bogus, they should also only ask registered voters.
