Report: Larkosh wins islands house seat

The Nantucket Inquirer and Mirror is reporting that the Barnstable, Dukes and Nantucket Democratic House primary has been won by West Tisbury attorney Dan Larkosh.

Larkosh held off a crowded field in the race to replace Rep. Eric Turkington (D-Falmouth) who is running for Barnstable Register of Probate.

Tim Lasker (D-Martha's Vineyard) finished second to Larkosh, followed closely by write-in candidate Tim Madden of Nantucket.

Coming in fourth, according to the Inquirer and Mirror, is David Moriarty (D-Falmouth) followed Roger Wey (D-Oak Bluffs) and Cynthia Bumpus (D-Falmouth), who dropped out of the race earlier this year but still received 578 votes.
